What Is 4D Lottery?
In 4D, you pick a four-digit number from 0000 to 9999. In each draw, a set of winning numbers is announced. If your number matches one of the winning numbers covered by your bet type, you win a prize. Because there are 10,000 possible numbers, every result is down to chance.
Each draw usually announces a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize, plus 10 Special and 10 Consolation numbers — 23 winning numbers in total.
There is no pattern, "hot number" or formula that can predict a 4D result. Treat 4D as entertainment and only play with money you can afford to lose.
Big vs Small: What's the Difference?
The two main 4D bet types are Big and Small. They cover a different number of prizes, so the chance of winning and the prize amounts are different.
Big Bet

Small Bet

Straight, Box and iBox Explained
- Straight: your digits must match the winning number in the exact order. Example: 1234 only wins on 1234.
- Box: you bet on every order of your digits as separate bets. Example: 1234 also covers 4321, 2143 and so on. It costs more because each order is a full bet.
- iBox: covers every order of your digits for a set total amount, which is split across the combinations. Cheaper than Box, but each combination pays less.
A number with four different digits, such as 1234, has 24 possible orders. Numbers with repeated digits, such as 1123, have fewer.
